So, what is "ByteTheBank"?
It’s not a bank (please don’t send us your IBAN). It's also not a site with "10 ways to save €5 on coffee." We're here to provide you sensible money and tech tips for individuals who know what a PC is.

Why We Started This Blog

Two reasons:

  • Most finance stuff is old and dull.
  • Written by folks who think that "digital" means using a debit card to pay.

People who work in tech need resource that is useful to them.
Taxes on working from home? Investing in ETFs in Europe? How much does "just one more subscription" cost? That's what counts

What You’ll Get Here

  • Useful money advice for EU tech workers and anyone who work from home
  • Reviews of tools like Revolut, Wise, Trading212, and VPNs
  • Honest chat about money myths
  • Sometimes, a rant about horrible UX or why your bank's app still looks like Windows 95

What You Won’t Get Here

  • Clickbait that could be used for anything
  • "Hustle harder" nonsensical
  • Financial advice that doesn't take into account how tech jobs and working around the world really work
